The Magic Cast patent pending design also provides a tight firm line and prevents from backlash. Avet SX Reels are workhorse 20-25 lb. casting/trolling reel. Weighing 17 ounce, with a spool slightly wider than a golf ball, the SX is a compact yet surprisingly strong game reel.

It is designed to be fished with small diameter braided fishing line which allows anglers to fish heavier tests to catch bigger fish! All models feature harness lugs (except fot the HXJ 5/2).
