Small water wheel, also known as the 'backpack water wheel', great to take along for a day's hike. It can find a place in a brook, between two makeshift branch-forks or on suitable stones as bearings. The waterwheel may also be positioned horizontally (with a vertical axis) and water may then fall onto the blades from above as a jet or in a spray to power the waterwheel.
