S-LON FIRE: This is a pre-waxed, braided bead thread consisting of gel-spun polyethylene, which is known as the strongest fiber, per diameter, ever created. It has an unbelievably high tensile strength and is recommended for various bead weaving and jewelry making projects. DETAILS: Our S-Lon Fire is 8lb. test and comes in a crystal-clear color. The cord measures .007” (.17mm) in diameter. The 50 yards are wound on a spool that is secured with a clear plastic clip.
